Croatia – Travel Updates 2020
Croatia has now ended its lockdown and has opened up to tourism once more. The country did not have many cases/deaths connected to coronavirus and is moving quickly to restart flights and welcome visitors once again.
We are delighted to say that we will also be running cruises and giving everyone a warm welcome this summer!
The flights from UK/Ireland and other European countries are due to run again in July, whereas other non-European countries will start flying in either July or August.
Travel with us in August and September
To give everyone enough time to get these flights and arrange travel/time off etc, we are offering cruises in August and September, including 18-39 cruises, mixed-age cruises and tennis cruises!
Plus, if you can get a group together (min. 20 people) for any week in Aug or Sep, we can arrange private boats for you.
Due to the upheaval from the recent pandemic, we are changing our payment terms for 2020, whereby you can put down a £50 GBP per person deposit to secure your spaces, with the final balance due 1 month before departure (previously 10 weeks before departure).
Safety on board
We will be implementing new covid-aware measures on our boats that include extra cleaning of shared areas, 2 separate lunch times and smaller, distanced daily speeches from our onboard reps.
Companies who care: the future of travel
We have been disappointed in the way that many travel companies have dealt with the pandemic upheaval. Their customers have been leaving online feedback about a lack of refunds, communication and changing terms and conditions retrospectively.
We are proud of our response to the crisis: we strived to answer all customer emails within 24-48 hours (even at the peak of the crisis) and we issued refunds to customers who had paid in full, and credit for the next 2 years to those who had only paid deposits. Only smaller, locally-focussed companies can do this!
We look forward to welcoming you back to Croatia for this summer, 2021 and beyond!
